Mr. Ma Jian’s lecture before his death
Mr. Ma Jian, a famous urban lighting expert, died of a heart attack at 23:07 on June 25, and was rescued ineffective. He died in Tianjin at the age of 48. The farewell ceremony of Mr. Ma Jian’s body will be held on June 28th at the Beicang Cemetery in Tianjin.
Mr. Ma Jian is the director of the Institute of Building Technology of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University; director of the landscape light environment of the Urban Planning and Design Institute of Tianjin University; executive director of the China Lighting Society; deputy director of the outdoor lighting professional committee; urban lighting expert of the expert committee of the Ministry of Construction; Beijing City, Tianjin City Night Lighting Expert Committee experts. It has made great contributions to the scientific, standardized and sustainable development of China's urban lighting industry. In recent years, he has been mainly engaged in urban light environment planning and design and theoretical research. Research is carried out in the fields of urban, architectural light environment and lighting research, urban night vision planning and design theory, and quantitative evaluation methods for architectural night scene aesthetics.
His awards and planning projects include Tianjin Tianta viewing platform nightscape planning; Tangshan downtown area advertising and night lighting planning; Tianjin metropolitan residential environment green lighting; Huizhou urban lighting special planning multiple urban lighting Planning and design projects, etc. Columns include "2007 Urban Architecture and Environmental Lighting Technology Forum", "Evaluation of Urban Lighting Project Benefits", "China's Lighting Education Status and Development", "Sustainable Lighting Design Concepts" and so on.
