Taiwan recognizes that mobile phone brands have not violated regulations

Taiwan’s regulators on Tuesday determined that several smart phone brands did not violate local data protection regulations. The Taiwan Communications Commission stated that all 12 brands of mobile phones tested by the agency did not violate relevant regulations, including Apple, Samsung and LG products. However, the Taiwan Communications Commission stated that they will require mobile phone manufacturers to strengthen the security of information transmission.
