The new lighting project in public lighting in Shenzhen will use LED lighting. The original non-LED lighting will be completed by the end of 2013.

Lu Jian, director of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee, revealed that LED lighting will be replaced first in subways and tunnels. According to statistics, the number of replacements of government lighting systems is more than 500,000. LED lighting will realize the transformation project energy saving over 50% under the same caliber. Through the "contract energy management model", the government can save a lot of electricity, with relatively low energy consumption to stimulate the development of related industries. At present, the scale of LED-related industries in our city is about 70 billion yuan. In 2015, we expect to achieve an annual output value of more than 130 billion yuan.

In accordance with the requirements of the Guangdong Province, the city will complete the public lighting LED transformation task by the end of 2013.
