Advanced car safety
The EyeQ2 processor developed by STMicroelectronics in cooperation with MobilEye is currently the most powerful dedicated processor for automotive vision systems. It has multiple cores and 7 video processing units for advanced driver assistance functions such as: Impact technology, yaw alarm system and pedestrian protection. STMicroelectronics and MobilEye are working with a number of market-leading automotive parts suppliers to develop machine vision systems for world-class automakers. Navigation and positioning
ST's Cartesio+ application processor has a built-in GPS module that combines superior processing performance with positioning accuracy and a rich set of peripheral interfaces to enable a reliable and feature-rich multimedia car navigation system. At the same time, cutting-edge system-on-chips meet the most stringent automotive quality requirements.
Another product demonstration introduces STMicroelectronics' latest generation of single-chip stand-alone positioning receivers, the Teseo II, the industry's most flexible and cost-effective solution for portable and in-vehicle information processing system chips. Compatible with all major navigation standards including GPS, GALILEO and GLONASS, ST's Teseo II has excellent positioning accuracy and room sensitivity.
