Set-top box, TV can not connect WIFI? Six strokes to help you quickly respond!

Many people use set-top boxes and TVs to access the Internet in varying degrees. In the following, the problems of set-top boxes and TVs cannot be compatible with Wi-Fi. Here are some tips for trouble-shooting set-top boxes and TV Wi-Fi connections. We hope to help everyone solve the problems. Some practical problems.

First move: Shut down and restart the Wi-Fi connection

With the set-top box and TV internet, the set-top box and TV will keep a network IP address assigned by the Wi-Fi connection. It will be applied to the current Wi-Fi. If there is no address conflict, there is no need to worry about it. If there is a conflict, you have to Shut down and restart the Wi-Fi connection.
Methods as below:
Open the set-top box and TV menu, enter the "Settings" column, select "Wireless and Network Settings", enter the "Wi-Fi settings" item, select "Close Wi-Fi" in a new window, and re-enter the Project, select "Open Wi-Fi" to restart the Wi-Fi connection.

The second measure: ignore the network

If the above method does not work, you should choose to let the Android device ignore the network and re-add operations.
The method of operation is as follows:
Move to the need to ignore the network coverage, choose to ignore the network, return to the coverage, waiting for the network to automatically display, and then enter the network password to log in again. In this way, the Android set-top box and TV should be able to get a new address and work normally.

The third measure: check the Wi-Fi password

Normally, the Wi-Fi password should be changed at regular intervals; however, when the network makes such adjustments, the set-top box and TV will not be updated automatically, and the Wi-Fi password needs to be manually updated.
Move to the problem network coverage, enter the Wi-Fi configuration items that need to be adjusted, select "Adjust network settings", enter the new password in the window and enter the password information for review, and finally select "Save password". This will allow Wi-Fi to work.

The fourth measure: Check Wi-Fi advanced settings

If all of the above methods do not solve the problem, the next step is to enter the advanced settings of the Android set-top box and TV Wi-Fi.
Open the set-top box, TV menu, enter the "Settings" window, select "Wireless and Network", enter "Wi-Fi settings", then enter the "Advanced" option, enter the "Proxy Server Settings", confirm that the Android device does not use a proxy server, if If an agent discovers an IP address or domain name, deleting it will resolve the Wi-Fi connection failure.
Tip: In most cases, the proxy and port settings will not be changed; but when there are common problems with Wi-Fi, choosing to view these items is not wrong.

The fifth measure: set a static IP address

Another solution is to set a static IP address for the Android device. This indicates that there may be a DHCP address allocation problem on the router that the user needs to connect to, or the device has obtained the wrong address. In order to set a static IP address, enter the information in the static IP address setting field (IP address, gateway, subnet mask, DNS, etc.).
The only problem with setting a static IP address is that it will work for all Wi-Fi, so only use this method to solve the problem if the user is only connected to one Wi-Fi connection.

Sixth trick: Turn off Wi-Fi sleep strategy

If Wi-Fi is often a problem, users should try to set the Wi-Fi sleep policy to never to see if the problem will disappear. If this policy is set to Never, the power consumed will increase, but on the other hand, this will make the Wi-Fi connection more stable.
In fact, as long as you find the right way, you can solve the problem that Wi-Fi cannot be connected.
Finally, we recommend a handy smart TV WIFI detection and optimization software:

WIFI signal artifact

Software introduction: WiFi signal artifact is the best smart TV WiFi detection optimization necessary tools, set WiFi signal enhancement optimization, channel occupancy analysis, intensity meter, download speed, network connection test in one of five functions, a key optimization to enhance WiFi Signal strength, a key to detect the true download speed of the network, detection of internal and external network connectivity, DNS configuration, rapid diagnosis of video can not be played, Cato problem root, especially for smart TVs, smart set-top boxes, tablet computers.

High Frequency PCB
High frequency PCB also called HF PCB.The RF frequency range is typically from 500 MHz to 2 GHz, and designs above 100 MHz are considered RF. The microwave frequency range is anything above 2 GHz. There`s a considerable difference between RF and microwave circuits versus typical digital and analog circuits. In essence, RF signals are very high frequency analog signals. Therefore, unlike digital, at any point in time an RF signal can be at any voltage and current level between minimum and maximum limits. We have much experience in this filed,up to 60 GHz PCB we made.

1.Made of special Resin system material with Low ER and Low loss factor

2.Hybrid Build up mix of FR4 with Low loss material
3.Tight Impedance control
4.Used in Automotive, Radar, CAR to CAR communication, Distance Assistance, Active Drive Systems
We say high frequency ,also like RF PCB and Microwave PCB as they are special material too,not usual FR4 .We have Taconic,Rogers,F4B,F4BM.PTFE material in stock. With this,we can do your special boards quick turn.Unlike other suppliers need long time to purchase material.
