Osram Germany Exhibition OLED device

On March 11, 2010, China News will be held at the International Lighting & Building Technology & Equipment Exhibition (Light + Building) in Frankfurt, Germany from April 11 to 16, 2010. Attractive is the OLED device built by lighting design company LichtKunstLicht. At that time, a variety of luminaire designs will compete and showcase a full range of ultra-thin light sources with different colors and shapes.

OLED - Visitors to the OSRAM booth will not only be able to witness the stunning effects of OLEDs, but also experience its unique charm. The OLED device, which was introduced at the booth, was designed by Professor Andreas Schulz and his famous LchtKunstLicht lighting design team to make reflective panels from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' Orbeos OLED. It forms walls and partial ceilings and floors, allowing light to float freely in the room. Visitors can walk in and walk through the OLED booth, or witness the future lighting system will no longer be limited to the mid-point lighting concept of independent lamps. In the past, traditional lighting fixture designs limited innovative thinking, and now these organic light-emitting diodes offer unprecedented creative freedom. Professor Andreas Schultz said: "OLED has given the building a new type of building materials that will completely change our perception of space and light. Our design at the booth is an attempt and exploration of future light sources. ."

Long-lasting surface light source transforming design elements

Organic LEDs have opened up new design concepts for architects and lighting designers – basically everything can be a light source, including furniture, walls, ceilings and windows. Even the entire surface, such as a ceiling or partition, can be achieved with OLEDs.

All of these application examples will be unveiled at the OSRAM booth. Display cabinets with integrated OLED panels will present the potential for colored or white light sources. The new generation of luminaires with 90 Orbeos OLEDs, specially designed for museums and retail stores, make exhibits and products exceptionally eye-catching. The OLED emits warm, soft and glare-free light, making the museum's exhibits look more natural and appealing than traditional glare.

In addition, there is a composite partition with an area of 1 square meter, which will show the colorful colors and different poses of the new surface light source, and prove to the world that it can even produce graphic effects.

The fourth design exhibit combines two new lighting technologies, point light source LED and surface light source OLED, to create a beautiful visual space for different scenes of furniture lighting.

The new era of lighting has kicked off, and OLEDs combine energy and beauty to make lighting an experience.

At the 2010 Light + Building in Frankfurt, Germany, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors will showcase new lighting designs with hundreds of OLEDs. The theme of the exhibition is “The Experience of Light, the Art of Light”.
