SI-EN Technology has released a SN3189, a 10-output RGB driver chip with synchronized music breathing. The chip is suitable for handheld electronic devices such as mobile phones, MP3/MP4 portable players, GPS navigation, etc. It can help the lighting system of such products to produce brighter colored lights, attract consumers' attention and enhance product positioning.
SN3189 supports System Free mode: After the system initialization is completed, the chip can be executed periodically. At this time, the external control bus can be released, no longer occupying system resources. This makes the product lighting effect design easier, manufacturers do not need to modify the software program a lot, without taking up external system resources, you can achieve beautiful sound and light synchronization.
The SN3189 has built-in ADC, memory buffer and intelligent digital signal processing module; the 10 output ports of the chip can be independently controlled. Among them, 6 RGB drivers, each drive's start and stop time, slope and brightness current can be initialized through the control åŸ .
All driving modes of SN3189 can breathe synchronously with music; its 6-channel RGB output supports external 256-level brightness independent control, each channel's output current is up to 40mA, and multiple LED lights can be connected in parallel. In order to meet the design requirements of product diversity, SI-EN also launched a 3-way RGB breathing light driver chip SN3101 without music synchronization function; a 6-channel RGB breathing light driver chip SN3103 without music synchronization.
