The first European IMAX VR Experience Center in China is not far away

IMAX officially announced today that it will establish the first European virtual reality experience factory in Odeon Printworks, Manchester, UK. IMAX said it is currently working with Hollywood studios and game developers to develop exclusive content for the virtual reality center and will use the StarAB virtual reality headset, which was jointly created by Acer and Starbreeze AB. At the same time, IMAX is also working with Google to create theater-level virtual reality content.

It is reported that this virtual reality experience center will adopt a modular design and be divided into a number of different “function areas”. Visitors and experiencers can experience the fun brought about by virtual reality together with friends.

IMAX has previously launched its first virtual reality experience center in Los Angeles. In the next few months, it will gradually launch more experience centers in China, Japan, the United States, the Middle East, and Western Europe.
