Located in the Pudong Park of the Shanghai World Expo, the Expo Center is based on the design principles of “perfect function, solemn form, environmental protection and energy savingâ€, creating a simple and modern style, creating a magnificent space atmosphere of the riverside building and expressing “good city, better lifeâ€. Vision. As one of the most important and influential permanent buildings, the Expo Center will undertake functions such as the Expo Operation Command Center, the Celebration Conference Center, the Press Release Center and the Forum Activity Center during the World Expo. After the World Expo, the Expo Center will be transformed into a large-scale government conference and an international comprehensive event venue, becoming a first-class international conference center.
The whole building is 350 meters long from east to west, 100 meters wide from north to south, with a total land area of ​​6.65 hectares and a total height of nearly 40 meters. The north side faces the Huangpu River and the Expo Park, the south side is the theme pavilion, and the east side is the Expo Axis and Performing Arts Center. . Occupy an important geographic and visual location within the park. In the lighting planning of the Expo Park, it is the highest standard of building lighting.
