1) Calculate ZxI∑

=0.871 (Europe)

2) Calculate single-phase ground fault current Id (TN system)

Id=Ue/ZxI∑=220/0.871=253(A)

3) Checking

According to Schneider C65 miniature circuit breaker type 2 curve (distribution type), when the short-circuit current is 4-7 times of the rated current of the circuit breaker, it will act instantaneously.

The socket circuit breakers used in the design are all 065-10A/1P, ie Ie=10A;

Therefore, the single-phase ground fault current action multiple is m=Id/Ie=253/10=25.3 (times) to ensure instantaneous action, and the trip time is t=0.02 second, which fully meets the requirements of the specification.
