I. Project background:

In order to maintain the sustained and steady growth of the urban economy and achieve the sound and sustainable development of the city, Guangzhou actively responded to the call of the state and took the lead in creating a â€œdemonstration city for energy conservation and emission reductionâ€ to fully launch and implement a large-scale LED street lighting renovation project.

In September 2009, the Guangzhou Municipal Construction Committee, Guangzhou City Investment Group and Beijing Langbo Optoelectronics jointly implemented nearly 1000 sets of high-sodium lamp street lamps in Guangzhou Tianhe District, and 6 large-area areas (23 roads) for LED street lamp head renovation project. It is the first energy-saving renovation project in Guangzhou's road lighting renovation project using contract energy management.

Second, the project energy-saving emission reduction effect:

Guangzhou City Investment Group pioneered the adoption of foreign advanced contract energy management (EMC) mode and implemented LED street lighting renovation for 1,000 sets of street lamps in Tianhe District.

The cost of LED streetlight products and renovation (about 10 million) is fully borne by its EMC service provider, Langpor Lighting. After the project acceptance, during the contract period of 10-15 years, City Investment Group will pay the energy-saving benefits to Langpor on a monthly basis.

In 30 days, Guangzhou City Investment Group immediately witnessed the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. The actual data shows that the average energy saving of the LED street lights of Langbo Optoelectronics is over 51% during the same lighting time.

Whether driving or hiking, the public clearly feels that LED street lights make the night environment of Guangzhou streets clearer and safer.

For example, the 10 years of use of LED street lamps instead of high-pressure sodium lamps is the calculation standard. The 1000-inch LED street lamps installed by Langbo Optoelectronics in Guangzhou are counted as examples. The total electricity saving can be 7.87 million degrees, saving electricity and other expenses up to 8.1 million yuan.

At the same time, the LED street lamp has a low-voltage working environment, and has the advantages of no starting loss, random high-frequency switching, etc., which greatly reduces the grid pressure and reduces the municipal maintenance cost. At the same time, the long life of LED has completely relieved the municipal staff from the heavy work of replacing high-pressure sodium lamps, saving municipal labor and financial resources.
