The United States has developed a light-trigger OLED "electronic skin"

The University of California, Berkeley, has developed an incredibly thin "electronic skin" that is essentially a flexible plastic sensor network, but is capable of responding to light touches. If more pressure is applied to it, the OLED of the electronic skin can be brighter.

Developed based on Javey's early semiconductor nanotransistors, this "electronic skin" touch response is also available for medical applications and interactive displays.

The electronic skin consists of a thin film transistor, a pressure sensor, and an OLED that are arranged in a 16x16 matrix that can display red, blue, and green. According to the researchers, they can be easily mounted on any surface.

The study was supported by the US Department of Defense's Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), in addition to robotic skin (lighted up when touched), and other areas that may be applied include touch-screen ratio display dashboards (helping to control cars). .

Co-researcher Wang Chuan said, "I can also imagine it being used in areas such as arm bandages in health monitoring, continuous blood pressure and pulse." Javey is now modifying the sensor for electronic skin to enable it to react to temperature and light.

We cover many types of Connectors for industrial, electrical and automotive, such as IP68 and Waterproof Connectors, OBD diagnostic connectors, also the standard or custom-designed power connectors for MINI FIT, MICRO FIT,  MATE-N-LOCK.

We can support customers to copy some original componenst for local/equivalent connecotors by considering short L/T and competitive price.  Also it's workable to offer solutions for unique and customized connectors  by overmold tooling with low cost.
