Zhang Xiaofei, CEO of Gaogong LED, said that last year, the output value of the domestic LED industry reached 205.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34%. This year, the output value of the LED industry will be close to 300 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50%. Among them, indoor lighting will increase by more than 120%, and outdoor lighting will increase by more than 100%. In terms of LED production value, the proportion of indoor lighting will exceed 28%, and the proportion of outdoor lighting will exceed 8%.
All of this data is a positive signal for the LED industry, and it also leads to increased competition in lighting applications, product prices have fallen sharply, and the increase in corporate revenues is very common.
Up to now, there have been no actual development plans for the industry government, and no specific standards have been introduced. Most of the LED companies are relatively young, and many problems have arisen. For example, the pursuit of low-end products "cost-effective", limited corporate brand influence, long-term development awareness is not strong, weak technology, plagiarism, light research and development, low profitability.
In the face of the future, how should LED lighting companies get out of the predicament? Zhang Xiaofei thinks that it should be considered from the following three aspects. First, seek brand breakthroughs, change the brand image of low-end and low-end, form a three-tiered brand of high, medium and low, and fully meet consumer demand. Secondly, pay attention to the re-structuring and strengthening of channels, and supplement the network channels; once again, pay attention to the strengthening of the company's own strength, and achieve all-round improvement from the aspects of product, strategy, positioning, capital, management, quality and technology.
