The platform combines FPGA and fully integrated IP solutions to reduce design time, simplify the integration process and test phase, and help customers focus on the benefits of value-added technology. The new product is Altera's SoftSilicon 400G transponder/wavelength converter (TPO516) and Altera SoftSilicon single-chip 20-channel arbitrary rate mapper supporting segmentation and reassembly (SAR) (TPOC226), which can be used in advanced ODU crossovers on OTN transport networks.
