In this test, the 6000-hour lumen maintenance rate of 0.5W-P3528 white light products was 98.66%@55°C, 98.96%@85°C, 97.89%@100°C, and the life expectancy was calculated according to the life estimation method specified by IES TM-21. (50000~60000) hours, indicating that the life of this product can be publicized for more than 36,000 hours.
Up to now, our company has four white LED device products through the authority LM-80 standard life test is more than 36000 hours: 0.06W-3528 series, 1W-6070 high power series, 1W-ceramic 3535 series, 0.5W-P3528 series.
The LM-80 is the IESNA (North American Institute of Lighting Engineering) approved lumen maintenance rate (LED lifetime) standard. The LM-80 test focuses on components of the light source, including LED packages, arrays, and modules, and uses this data to estimate component life. Manufacturers of LED lights, light engines and LED luminaires are required to obtain the ENERGY STAR certification issued by the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the devices used in their products must meet the requirements of the LM-80 standard test.
