Not long ago, during the visit of the national leaders to the United States, the Chinese and U.S. governments and enterprises successively signed a number of economic and trade project contracts, among which a number of cooperation agreements were also signed in the field of new energy. China Guodian Group and the UPC Management Group of the United States are in the field of wind power. To carry out extensive strategic cooperation, according to the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop, build and operate wind power projects with a total installed capacity of over 1,075 megawatts, with a total investment of over 10 billion yuan. UPC of the United States officially entered China in 2006 and currently develops and builds 24 projects in 12 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. For the cable market, which is already showing signs of fatigue, it is undoubtedly a new dawn.

As a clean energy source, wind energy has attracted the attention of various countries. Wind power has developed rapidly and has become the fastest growing energy source in the world. According to the energy development plan of the National Development and Reform Commission, by 2010, the development goals of wind power in China will be 5 million kilowatts and 30 million kilowatts, respectively. China has abundant wind energy resources. Inland resources are mainly distributed in the northeast, north and northwest, and wind farms have been built in Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang. Experts predict that China's offshore development wind energy reserves will be 750 million kilowatts. With the total number of land-based wind turbines becoming saturated, offshore wind power will become the focus of future development and the development prospects are considerable. At the same time, wind power cables brought by wind power have become the new darling of the cable industry.
