On May 31, Jingdong’s first drone competition was held in Nanjing. Jingdong Computer Digital and Jingdong X UAV, Dajiang and other dozens of drone brand manufacturers participated in the contest. In this competition, drone enthusiasts from all over the country competed and showed wonderful performances of drone formations. At the same time, Jingdong's own logistics drones also officially unveiled.
It is reported that the winner of this competition is only 18 years old, but has 4 years of experience in drone flight. In addition to the racing session, the Jingdong X Business Unit and the Gaoju Innovation Team also brought in the drone formation performance. A total of more than 400 performance drones were unveiled together, and the Jingdong Joy graphics were displayed in the air.
At the Jingdong drone competition, the Jingdong X business unit also brought Jingdong's own logistics-specific drone, the Y-type drone, to the Jingdong drone competition. The Y-6 multi-rotor UAV can carry 10 kg and last for 40 minutes. It is a native unmanned aircraft designed and developed by JD. With the advantages of flexible flight performance such as vertical lifting and hovering, it has better applicability than fixed-wing UAVs in certain environments, that is, the prototype that enables drone delivery after JD.
